Self Aid/Buddy Aid
SABA is the cutting edge of tactical medical training. Focused on practical application, SABA is an intensive, hands-on, 2 hour course focused on practical application of critical lifesaving skills at the point of wounding.
Under stress, we lose our fine motor skills, articulate speech and ability to perform in-depth mental analysis. Based on the Tactical Combat Casualty Care and Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TCCC/TECC) guidelines, SABA ensures that you’re trained to muscle-memory mastery so that you can perform critical lifesaving skills for yourself and for your fellow responders at the point of wounding and under the most stressful of conditions.
This is not medical theory.
This is programming for the primitive mind.
RealisticSABA was developed by a team that included a former special forces medic, veteran firefighter/paramedics and veteran SWAT officers.
After long hours of mind-numbing classroom presentations of TCCC, the founders of Crimson Effect set out to do it better. Traditional TCCC courses often include too much of the wrong information and too few repetitions of skills and drills. SABA takes the most critical elements, progressively takes away your faculties and increases your stress. Scenarios are repeated until muscle-memory is solidly developed into repeatable skill sets. |
Train the TrainerOne key principal of TECC is focusing on critical skill sets and empowering individuals to adapt those skills into their respective agency's guidelines and procedures. The most effective way to deliver true end-user effectiveness is to develop agency trainers. Crimson Effect offers several progressive courses, all developed with the agency trainer in mind.
We support all SABA trainers with presentations, props, and efficient methodology to ensure realistic initial delivery for new recruits and sustainment training for veteran officers. |
